The Iron Hills is another dwarvish kingdom that was run by Dáin II Ironfoot, before he became the king of Erebor (after Thorin II Oakenshield, his second cousin, died).
We don’t know much about it as isn’t very important to the story line. It might not have even been mentioned in the book. Although it is talked about in the Hobbit.
